WELCOME, ARMY!
Thank you for scanning and getting to know more about the process of how I made these photocards for you.
CYANOTYPES
Cyanotype is the earliest form of printing photographs without a camera. It is also called cameraless photography. Sir John Herschel invented it in 1842. It allows you to be in touch, physically and emotionally, with the work. You collect the items, mix the solution, coat the paper, and wait. And that wait gives you beautiful white and blue colors, revealing the intricate details and traces of the items. And today, the photocards you see are made from negatives I printed out of BTS’s recent photoshoots. Click on the video below to watch the whole process, and Hope you like the end results.
